Pick up nomination paper from the Office of Elections or Clerk’s Office (HRS §12-2.5)
File petition to form political party, party rules, and officers with the Office of Elections (HRS §11-62)
File party rules with the Office of Elections (HRS §11-63)
File political party objections with the Office of Elections (HRS §11-62)
The deadline is not later than the twentieth business day after the petition is filed. As such, the deadline may be earlier depending on when the group filed its petition.
Submit names of precinct officials to the Office of Elections (HRS §11-72)
File party officers with the Office of Elections (HRS §11-64)
Last day to file nomination paper for the Primary Election with the Office of Elections or Clerk’s Office (HRS §12-6)
Submit request to withdraw from the Primary Election for any reason to the Office of Elections or Clerk’s Office (HRS §11-117)
File written objections to nomination paper for the Primary Election with the Office of Elections or Clerk’s Office (HRS §12-8)
Submit request to withdraw from the Primary Election for reasons of ill health to the Office of Elections or Clerk’s Office (HRS §11-117)
The Clerk’s Offices mail Primary Election ballots to overseas voters (42 USC§1973ff-1 & HRS §15D-9)
Last day to register to vote for the Primary Election with the Clerk’s Office (HRS §11-24). Voters are eligible for late registration for the Primary Election at an early walk-in voting location (HRS §15-7)
Applications must be postmarked to your Clerk’s Office by July 14, 2016.

Submit names of poll watchers for the Primary Election to the Office of Elections or Clerk’s Office ( HRS §11-77)

Last day to file nomination paper for the Primary Election with the Office of Elections or Clerk’s Office
Senate and House Clerk’s Office submit Constitutional Amendment questions; and Clerk’s Office submit County Charter Amendment questions and County Initiative questions to the Office of Elections (HRS §11-119)
Last day for qualified political parties to certify nominees for president and vice president to the Office of Elections (HRS §11-113(c)(1))
Submit request to withdraw from the General Election for reasons of ill health to the Office of Elections or Clerk’s Office (HRS §11-117)
