PEARL CITY, April 2, 2018: The Office of Elections will open a downtown satellite office on April 3. Candidates seeking elected Federal and State offices may obtain and file a nomination paper at the Leiopapa A Kamehameha Building, Room 203, 235 South Beretania Street.
From April 3 to May 17, the satellite office will be open Tuesdays and Thursdays only, and starting May 21 to June 5, will be open daily Monday through Friday.
The deadline for candidate filing is June 5 at 4:30 p.m. Individuals seeking office are encouraged to file early. For a listing of candidate filing locations statewide visit www.elections.hawaii.gov. Candidates may also go online to obtain an application for a nomination paper and view the Candidate’s Manual which contains information on how to become a candidate for federal, state, and county office, and the applicable filing fees and requirements.
