Drive-Thru Voter Registration

PEARL CITY, October 6, 2016 – The deadline to register to vote in the General Election is October 10, 2016. The Office of Elections and County Clerks will be holding drive-thru voter registration events at various locations statewide, giving Hawaii residents another opportunity to register to vote.

Individuals may visit a designated location to register or update their voter registration from the convenience of their vehicle. Additionally, voters are welcomed to drop-off completed voter registration forms to these locations.

To be eligible to register to vote, you must be a U.S. Citizen, a Hawaii resident and at least 18 years of age.

2016 Drive-thru Voter Registration locations:

Hawaii:
Dates:             October 7 and 10
Hours:            9:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Location:        Bayfront (Hilo), Kmart (Kona), Malama Market (Pahoa)

Maui:
Dates:             October 10
Hours:            8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Location:        Baldwin High School Auditorium

Kauai:
Dates:             October 10
Hours:            8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Location:        Office of County Clerk, Elections Division

Oahu:
Dates:             October 10
Hours:            8:00 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.
Location:        Hawaii State Capitol

Voters who have moved or changed their name since the last election, will need to update their voter registration.

Completed voter registration forms must be submitted to the Clerk’s Office by 4:30 p.m. on October 10. Mailed applications must be postmarked to your Clerk’s Office by October 8, 2016 as the USPS will be closed on October 10, 2016 in observance of Columbus Day.
